Judge William E. Ford
Judge William E. Ford graduated with honors from De Sales University in 1972 and earned a J.D. from Dickinson School of Law in 1975. He served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve (JAG) from 1975 to 1979 and as an Assistant District Attorney for Lehigh County from 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1991. Judge Ford also had a private civil practice, concentrating in defense litigation, from 1981 to 1991. He was elected Judge of the Court of Common Pleas for Lehigh County in November 1991 and retained for a second ten-year term in November 2001.
