The Clerk's Civil Division Office maintains all civil related Court records and carries out the following duties and responsibilities:

Process Orders of Court
(2)
Docket and index all judgments, notes, liens, ejectments, financing statements (UCC), and all other civil cases
(3)
Collect, process and distribute funds to various individuals and agencies (i.e., Department of Revenue, arbitration appeals, domestic and divorce master's fees, etc.)
(4)
Collect funds and distribute proceeds as ordered by Court, and maintain all records of accounting
(5)
Process and send appeal cases to higher Courts
(6)
Prepare writs upon praecipe (i.e., execution, attachments, seizure, summons, etc.)
(7)
Process Protection from Abuse (PFA) cases, collect appropriate fees, and transmit PFA data to the Pennsylvania State Police PFA registry
(8)
Process all Divorce/Custody filings and transmit cases to the Court for final decree
(9)
Maintain a list of approved surety companies for posting bonds
(10)
Perform other miscellaneous administrative duties including maintain a Judicial and Administrative Oath Docket, notary signature registration, attorney bar admissions, District Justice civil case appeals, and license suspension appeals
(11)
Accept passport applications for processing by Passport Services
(12)
Assist Federal Immigration Service with processing of applicants for Naturalization Citizenship and Naturalization ceremonies in Courtroom.
