Continuance request for any matter scheduled before the court or a board of arbitrators must be submitted on an approved form. It must be signed by counsel and must reflect the opposing parties position along with his/her signature. The party applying for a continuance should check with the Court Administrator's Office to see if a new scheduling date is required before submitting to the judge. In some instances fax copies are acceptable by some judges.
