Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas

Legal actions regarding the ending of family relationships are managed by the Lehigh County Family Court Division. Court services for child custody, divorce, and Protection from Abuse (domestic violence) are located in Room 325 of the Courthouse. The Domestic Relations Division at 14 N. 6th Street, Allentown handles child and spouse support.

The Family Court Office does not provide information for filing for divorce. Forms and instructions for filing for divorce are available at the Self Help Section. These forms are suggested only for persons without property, assets or debts. Individuals with assets or debts should seek the advice of an attorney.
