The members of the Court Transcription Unit have the primary task of recording proceedings before judges, senior judges, masters, or other fact finders appointed by the Court. This task also includes the transcription of the proceeding when a transcript is requested.
Upon request, the court transcription personnel create a verbatim transcript of the proceedings. This written transcript is produced upon request of the Court or by any party in the case, usually to prepare for further court proceedings or to file an appeal. All transcripts of official court proceedings shall be prepared only upon written authorization or Order of Court.
In order to request a transcript, it is necessary to provide the date of the hearing, the name of the presiding judge, the name of the case and/or the defendant's name, and your contact information. We cannot assist you without the above information. Please note that a transcript is not considered ordered until the completed Request for Transcript or Copy form is processed, resulting in an Order of Court, and any required deposit is received.
